From a centre without a heart, to one with a great big throbbing pink one! No place has changed more than Walthamstow since the centre was built over 30 years ago. Our new look has revolutionised the shopper experience and significantly increased rental levels. Clearing out false bay windows, creating double-height shopfronts and a new copper ceiling ’snake’ draws customers into the new square at the heart of the centre. Moving the main staircase has created new space for a Costa, resulting in extended opening hours and significantly higher dwell times.
